Sa panayam kay Darren ng Monster RX93.1, natanong siya kung ano ang nakikita niya sa sarili 10 years from now, “Sana I’m still doing what I love which is performing and making music and all that and hopefully by then I’ve released a few international singles and I’ve gotten a few international recognitions na rin hopefully. Libre lang naman mangarap.

“But in regards to my personal life, maybe I’ll be married, you know we never know. 30 is a weird age. Some people are married, some people are having kids, some people are enjoying their single life.

“So you never know what the future holds. Siguro by then I may not just have a girlfriend, maybe fiancée ko na siya or maybe single pa rin ako,” simulang pagbabahagi ng binata.

“It’s actually funny because as a singer, hindi ako yung nanliligaw through songs. Which is ironic I would say.

“Type ko sa isang babae yung simple lang talaga and someone I can relate to, someone I can vibe with and ayoko ng sabihin yung hindi siya high maintenance.

“Siguro that is incorporated in being a simple girl pero of course besides that, God-fearing and someone who respects my family, my parents, and all of that,” paliwanag ni Darren.

Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “I’m being really honest right now. Wala naman akong nililigawan ngayon and I would court the parents first then ask if it’s okay.

Kasi okay lang naman na mag-usap usap kayo from time to time. Be friends and all that.

“But if you’re really going to take things seriously and you actually want to be more than friends, start with the parents and make sure that they’re okay with everything that you doing in your intentions for their daughter,” lahad pa ni Darren.

It’s a part of life and you just have to keep moving on from it. Dadaan at dadaan naman tayo sa heartbreak.

“Minsan hindi dahil sa relationships lang,eh. It can be sa personal life mo, it can be through a movie na nararamdaman mo talaga yung performance na tagos nung actor, it can even be from a song.

“You know you might not even be heartbroken but you’re heartbroken from the lyrics or the melody or the instrumental of the song.

“I’d say it’s a part of life and you just have to know how to move on and move forward because life doesn’t stop there. Especially tayong mga Filipino, mahilig tayong humugot. Sentimental people tayo.
