APAT na buwang malalayo sa isa’t isa ang engaged couple na sina Carla Abellana at Tom Rodriguez matapos bigyan ng GMA 7 ng magkahiwalay na trabaho.
Pagkatapos ng very successful run ng Kapuso primetime series na “Love of My Life”, bibida uli si Carla sa bagong proyekto ng GMA na malapit nang simulan. Kaya naman muli siyang sasabak sa lock-in taping.
Si Tom naman ay makakasama sa isa pang upcoming series ng GMA kaya malamang matagal-tagal din silang hindi magkakasama. Sabi nga ni Carla baka raw “ber” month na uli silang magkita ng kanyang fiancé.
“It came to my surprise last March when I was informed I was to be part of a new primetime show, something I did not expect because normally I would have at least 4 months off after finishing one.
“This time around, ‘Love of my Life’ was just about to end and I found myself preparing for a new role almost immediately. Thank you for the blessings, Lord! I promise to do my best,” kuwento ni Carla.
Dagdag niyang chika, “Tom also has a new show. Not that I’m sad he has a new show but I’m sad we won’t be seeing each other in the next couple of months. Even if my break in between lock-in tapings, unfortunately ‘yung mga break namin hindi nagtugma.”
“Unfortunately it’s going to be like that until September. It’s going to be the longest time we’ll be apart which is more or less four months.
“Nagkataon pa kung kailan preparing kami to get married, wedding prep and all. But thankfully, we have work. We are very grateful that we both have work,” lahad pa ng Kapuso actress.
Ani Carla, after na ng kanilang trabaho saka nila ipagpapatuloy ang wedding preparations.
“Magkahiwalay man kami ng show we’re so thankful kasi at least we get to continue to put food on our table, support our families, and at the same time, prepare na rin financially not just for the wedding but for our dream home na rin.
“Tiis-tiis na lang muna. Hindi na lang muna magsasama nang ilang buwan pero for sure worth it naman ‘yan because ang importante ikakasal naman kami at the end of our shows,” pahayag ng aktres.
