KUNG takot na takot noong manganak ang singer-actress na si Rachelle Ann Go, ibang-iba na ngayon ang feeling niya matapos ipanganak ang kanyang first baby.
Napakahirap at masakit magsilang ng baby, pero na-enjoy daw ni Rachelle ang bawat iri na ginawa niya habang nagle-labor sa isang ospital sa London.
Sa kanyang Facebook page, ibinahagi ng Miss Saigon actress ang ilang hindi malilimutang karanasan habang ipinapanganak ang panganay nila ni Martin Spies na si Baby Lukas Judah.
Ipinost pa niya ang isang litrato na nakasuot siya ng shades habang nasa ospital na may caption na, “If the contractions are strong, make it fashion.”
Kuwento ni Rachelle, “My midwife said she’ll give me an hour to push. If not, the doctors will have to examine me again and might do emergency CS.
“I said ‘NO! I will do it in 15-20 mins!’ It took me 18mins to push Lukas out! Praise God! Tinodo ko na talaga ang pag-push.
“My midwife was just incredible. It was just the 3 of us in the room (Martin, her & me)! What’s amazing too is that Martin was assisting her during the delivery!” lahad pa ng first time mommy.
Ayon pa kay Rachelle, “I cannot believe we did it! We kept praying for a miracle. It was a loooong labor…
“I was progressing really slowly but I was actually enjoying the contractions! LOL. Weird…But yeah I found myself saying YES to each contraction.
“The Holy Spirit just filled the room! We were praying and singing worship songs… Our first midwife started singing with us!
“I had such an amazing birthing experience!
“I was so scared of giving birth before but after going through it, I realized God made it possible for us to do this! My big take away is FAITH over fear. God will meet us at the level of our faith,” aniya pa.
Nagpakasal sina Rachelle at Martin Spies sa Boracay noong April, 2018 habang isinilang naman si Baby Lukas nito lang March 26, 2021.
