Matapang ang naging sagot ng komedyana sa babala sa kanya ng Kwaonhar Nine Nine Co., Ltd, ang humahawak sa careet ni Mario sa Thailand. Talagang sinagot ng abogado niya isa-isa ang reklamo ng kabilang kampo.
Sa legal statement ng talent management ni Kakai na Artist Gallery Management (pag-aari ni Freddie Bautista), dumepensa sila sa mga paratang ng kampo ni Mario.
Narito ang ilang bahagi ng official statement ng AGM na pirmado ng komedyana, ni Freddie Bautista at ng legal counsel nilang si Atty. Jude Marfil, “We firmly and vehemently repudiate and detest in the strongest possible terms the claims of the ‘Authorized Attorney’ of Mr. Maurer’s agency against our client. They are palpably without any factual and legal bases.
“Further, his claim that our client ‘improperly exploited’ and made ‘false statements’ about Mr. Mario Maurer and his team already reek of libel a crime punishable under Art 353 of the revised penal code of the Philippines,” sabi pa sa statement.
“We are deploy alarmed and appalled as to how a private letter which severely tarnishes the reputation and image of our client by making her appear as deceitful, lying, and exploitative woman and likewise contains personal information of our Client’s manager such as the latter’s address, made its way to the Philippine media,” depensa pa nila.
Wala umano silang nakikitang masama o labag sa batas sa ginawa ni Kakai dahil pawang katotohanan lamang mula sa personal niyang karanasan sa pakikipagtrabaho kay Marion ang kanyang mga sinabi.
“The truth of the matter is that any and all factual allegations of our Client as to her experience, connection, and communication with Mr. Maurer and the latter’s team are only based on truthful occurrences as substantiated by evidence and done without any malice or bad faith on her part— that is, a simple and truthful recollection of her personal experiences in working with an international public figure such as Mr Mario Maurer, whom she has so cherished and has held with high regard and respect,” nakasaad pa sa legal statement.
“Accordingly, for as long as the statements of our Client are based on truth and that she has not signed any non-disclosure agreement with Mr. Mario Maurer and/or his agency, Ms. Bautista is very much free under our legal system to publicly talk about her experiences with Mr. Maurer, who is an international public figure.
“Nonetheless, our client has decided to totally disassociate herself from Mr. Maurer through all means and channels possible.”
Tila kinuwestiyon din ng kampo ni Kakai ang pagkakakilanlan ng lawyer ng Thai actor, “In this regard, we have demanded from alleged attorney of Mr. Mario Maurer’s agency to prove his identity and authority to send Cease and Demand letter on behalf of Mr. Maurer and the latter’s agency.”
Umaasa naman ang kampo ni Kakai na dito na matatapos ang nasabing issue.
