“In mid-2019, I went to my doctors. I had my general check-up, I had, like, all these exams done, and praise God, talagang okay lahat.

“But with my OBGYN, (I was told) that it would take a whole year to prepare my body for pregnancy. I want to share with you all the steps that I did to get to this point,” simulang kuwento ni Roxanne.

“Pero disclaimer, hindi naman po ako specialist. Wala akong alam except based on kwento, based on sa mga nakausap ko rin na mothers who have really shared their knowledge with me.

“Also, just researching a very, very, very light version of what I could do during my own spare time,” aniya pa.

As in iba ‘yung pressure points niya, nasa lower abdomen tapos iaangat ‘yung matres.

“Because sabi, lalo na sa akin, as a weightlifter, I like to lift weights above 25 pounds, there are times na bumababa ‘yung womb natin kapag nagbubuhat tayo ng mabibigat,” paliwanag pa niya.

“My OBGYN also told me no caffeine, no alcohol, no soft drinks. The only things that I can drink are water, fresh fruit juices (except papaya ang pineapple), and herbal teas, like raspberry tea leaf, which is for menstruation and for your uterus, and also red clover tea, which is good for your overall reproductive health,” sey pa ng aktres.

Sinubukan din niya ang acupuncture, sauna, meditation for fertility and pregnancy, at chiropractic treatments, “It was much easier kasi my husband also stopped everything. As in tumigil din siya (bad habits).

“He exercised five days a week, at least 20 minutes of exercising. No smoking. No alcohol. No coffee. Took seven hours of sleep every day. Ate healthy. He also listened to a lot of music, jazz, soul, funk,” lahad pa niya.

Sa pamamagitan din ng kanyang vlog last month, ibinandera ni Roxanne, na 36 years old na ngayon, ang kanyang pagbubuntis habang nito lamang nagdaang December niya ipinaalam sa publiko na nagpakasal na siya sa isang non-showbiz guy.

“He said he wants to start a family with me. It was such a beautiful moment because he asked twice. He actually asked me a few months after quarantine pero dahil naka-lockdown pa nu’n, all we knew was that we were going to get married before the year ends.

“Totoo pala yung when you know, you know. I knew from the start na siya yung para sa akin. I am taken! He is worth the wait,” ang pahayag pa ni Roxanne sa nasabing vlog.
