“It’s 2021. 2020 was not a good year for the whole planet. [I] will take the lessons I learned from 2020’s experiences from the loss of freedom for all of us, the loss of loved ones, the loss of jobs … maybe some of you lost faith in God and I pray that you return to Him,” pahayag ni Shawie sa kanyang vlog.
Patuloy pa niyang mensahe, “Because, really if you feel that we were not in control of COVID-19 and then you give up in believing that God is, was, and always will be in control of the things we are not in control of, we will have no one to hold on to or to turn to and I happen to have such faith in Him that sometimes, because I’m only human that also falters.”
Dito rin niya inamin na may mga pagkakataon na napapatanong din siya sa Diyos sa gitna ng mga kanegahang nangyayari ngayon sa mundo, “Nawawalan din ako minsan ng parang ‘Lord, why is it like this?’ And not that it’s bad to ask.
“I guess it’s just like sometimes, when you feel bad with your father, it’s just like that. Because He is our Father, you can ask Him, you can tell Him, you can get angry … but in the end, always go back to Him. He’s just waiting,” aniya pa.
“And for all you know, they said: ‘It’s always darkest before the dawn.’ So, the lowest point, once you hit it, there’s nowhere else to go but up. Because life is a cycle. Just like a wheel, it goes up and it goes down.
“It cannot always be perfect. Always remember the good times, the perfect, and the happy days may not go on forever. But what we may have forgotten is that the sad, painful, and bad days do not go on forever as well,” lahad pa ni Mega.
Ipinagdarasal din ni Sharon na maging maayos, mapayapa at masagana na ang taong 2021 para sa lahat ng Pinoy at makabawi na rin ang lahat ng mga nawalan ng kabuhayan at trabaho last year.
“I pray that 2021 will be a much brighter, much better year for all of us and through the next year and the years to come. Let us not forget the difficulties we faced so we can be prepared for the problems to come especially if they are smaller compared to COVID-19.
“Maybe this pandemic has made us stronger. And hopefully, with God’s grace, we will soon be able to fight it,” mensahe pa niya.
Sa huli, nagpasalamat si Sharon sa lahat ng mga taong bumati sa kanyang birthday kamakalawa, “Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I can’t believe I’m celebrating my 55th birthday still with you. Anyway, for my birthday, this will be my 43rd year, this month, in show business. My 43rd year singing, my 40th in acting, and I’ve made maybe 60 movies now.
“I can’t believe that I am set to do a few more, already ready and I’m doing an album again … again, unexpectedly, but, I’m going to work as hard as this pandemic will allow me to in safe situations, I’ll make sure,” sabi pa ng nag-iisang Megastar at movie queen.
