Ilang netizens ang nag-react sa sunud-sunod na post ng dalaga sa Twitter kung saan matapang nga nitong kinondena ang pagpatay at panggagahasa sa biktima.
Ipinagdiinan ni Frankie na may nagagahasa dahil may mga rapist.
“It is never the clothes, never the drinks — never the victim, period. It is always, ALWAYS, the rapist’s fault.
“How many more times do we have to hammer this home for it to stick in your thick skulls, please?!?!” diin ng dalaga.
“The hashtag really shouldn’t be ‘protect drunk girls,’ man. It should be: respect any human being because drunk girls shouldn’t be needing any more protection than drunk guys.
“That’s exactly what’s wrong here, though — a few drinks and we’re suddenly no longer people.
“Like it’s f*cked up, I get it — girls have so much more to fear in intoxication. But, it’s so damn sad that we have to be ‘protected,’ because that implies this kind of danger is inevitable when it’s not.
“Teach your kids not to rape people; let us deal with the hangovers,” mensahe pa ni Frankie.
Maraming kumampi sa anak nina Mega at Sen. Kiko Pangilinan pero may ilan ngang kumontra sa kanya at ang iba ay nagsabi pang sana raw ay ma-rape rin siya.
Nang makarating sa dalaga ang mga comments ng bashers, ni-repost niya ang nasabing comments para ipaalam na rin sa publiko ang tungkol dito.
Depensa ni Frankie tungkol dito, “There’s something awful and stupid about how I only get rape threats when I talk about rape not being okay.”
