TULUY-TULOY pa rin ang magaganap na bakbakan bukas sa “The Clash Season 3” ng GMA 7 matapos ang double elimination round last week.
Noong Linggo, nagpaalam na nga ang early favorite na si Cholo Bismonte, na nakasama nina Julie Anne San Jose at Rita Daniela sa grupong SugarPop. Sabay silang natanggal ng isa pang contender na si Princess Vire.
Naging emosyonal pa si Cholo nang ihayag ng Clash Panel (judge) member na si Pops Fernandez ang naramdaman nito nang mag-perform siya.
“Naiyak ako, na-touch ako. I felt you, I felt the song. I know that you sing very, very well. I think you got carried away with the song. Your notes were good.
“I want you to go the distance. I am one of those who wanna see you go this distance. I think you have a long way to go,” aniya pa.
Sabi naman ng isa pang judge na si Christian Bautista, “The thing with this song, the distance can be short, can be long pero he’s enjoying every mile.
“Katulad ng kanta, like you enjoyed it before, like you’re enjoying it now. You’re feeling it, na-feel naming lahat. You want it, you want it so bad.
“It should not end, this desire to go the distance whether you push through sa next level or not. It’s okay to take a rest. It’s okay to hold back.
“Pero like what you did, yung bravery mo to join again, that’s tough. And ipinakita mo sa lahat na you have that inner strength na you wanna prove to yourself and to others again that you can do it.
“But the thing is, dito sa round na ito, it’s gonna be hard. All of you are good but we gotta take out half. It doesn’t mean that you’re not worth the distance. It’s just mean it’s just another stopover on the road.
“Nonetheless thank you for your very emotional performance,” paliwanag pa ni Christian.
Sa pagpapatuloy ng kumpetisyon, 10 na lang ang maglalaban-laban — sina Sheemee Buenaobra, Larnie Cayabyab, Jennie Gabriel, Nina Holmes, Yuri Javier, Fritzie Magpoc, Shannen Montero, Audrey Mortilla, Renz Robosa at Jessica Villarubin.
