Vice Ganda hindi na mapapanood sa MMFF 2020

HINDI na mapapanood si Vice Ganda sa gaganaping Metro Manila Film Festival 2020 sa Disyembre kahit naunang naaprub ang entry niyang “The Super Praybeyt Benjamin”.
Kasabay na in-announce ng MMFF organizers ang pelikula ni Vice na pumasok sa Top 4 kasama ang iba pang entries na “Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan”, “Magikland” at “The Exorcism of My Siszums.”

Ang katwiran sa amin ng isang taga-Star Cinema, hindi pa rin daw sila makapag-shoot dahil sa pandemya.  Ito rin ang worry ni Vice noong huli namin siyang makausap sa virtual mediacon ng “The Vice Ganda Network”.
Hindi niya alam kung paano sila magsu-shoot dahil nga limitado ang tao sa set at number of hours bilang pagsunod sa health protocols.

Dose hanggang katorse oras lang ang ina-allow sa shooting bagay na malabong mangyari dahil nga may araw-araw na programa si Vice, ang “It’s Showtime” at anong oras pa siya darating sa set? Gayung dapat 12 midnight o 2 a.m. ay pack up na sila.

Bukod dito ay alam naman natin ang mga pelikula ni Vice na laging maraming characters, e, hanggang 50 lang ang puwede sa set kasama na ang staff and crew.

Anyway, nagsimulang sumali si Vice sa MMFF noong 2012 sa pelikulang “Sisterakas”, 2013 para sa “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy”, 2014 naman sa “The Amazing Private Benjamin”, 2015 for “Beauty and the Bestie”, 2016 para sa “Super Parental Guidance”, 2017 naman ang “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad”, 2018 para sa “Fantastica” at 2019 naman ang “The Mall, The Merrier” na lahat ay mga blockbuster.

At kung babalik na sa normal ang lahat sa susunod na taon ay magkita-kita na lang ulit sa mga sinehan para sa 2021 Metro Manila Film Festival.
