MAGSASAGAWA ng pooled testing para mas maraming Filipino ang masuri kung nahawa ng coronavirus disease 2019 sa mas murang halaga.
Inanunsyo ni Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship at Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion ang programa sa ilalim ng Project ARK PCR Initiative.
Nabatid na si dating Health Secretary at Iloilo Rep. Janette Garin, ang chief implementor ng programa sa bansa.
Layunin ng programa na mas maraming Filipino ang maisailalim sa RT-PCR test.
“Pooled Testing is a game changer. This is why we want to get organized with government and private hospitals,” ani Concepcion.
Sa ilalim ng programa, kukuha ng swab sample sa ilang indibidwal na pagsasama-samahin sa isang test kit. Kung positibo ang resulta magsasagawa ng indibidwal testing upang matukoy kung sino sa partikular na grupo ang nagpositibo.
Sinabi ni Garin na sa pamamagitan ng pooled testing ay kayang ma-test ang 1 milyong tao gamit lamang ang 100,000 test kits.
Sa unang bahagi ng programa ay pagsama-samahin ang swab sample ng 5, 10 at 20 katao sa isang test kit at mula dito ay tutukuyin kung ano ang pinaka-epektibong dami ng pagsasama-samahin sa isang test kit.
