TATANGGAP ang nasa 7,310 kawani ng Makati City Hall ng P3,000 anniversary bonus sa darating na Lunes (Hunyo 22).
Sinabi ni Makati City Mayor Abby Binay na ito ay bilang pasasalamat sa serbisyo ng mga empleyado bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-350 anibersaryo ng lungsod noong Hunyo 1.
Kabilang sa mga tatanggap ang 3,425 regular, 3,876 casual at siyam na contractual employees.
“This is our simple way of giving back to our valued employees who have been our reliable partners in delivering services to our constituents for the past years. We appreciate how readily they have responded to the call of duty during this pandemic, putting public welfare before their own,” sabi ni Binay.
Kanselado naman ang mga aktibidad para sa anibersaryo ng Makati dahil sa coronavirus disease (COVID-9).
“At this time of uncertainty, we give priority to initiatives aimed to help Makatizens, including our city employees, cope well with the challenges brought on by the ongoing crisis,” dagdag ni Binay.
Noong nakalipas na Abril napagkalooban din ng hazard pay at special risk allowance ang mga qualified city hall frontliners na nagserbisyo sa loob ng Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) period, alinsunod sa City Ordinance No. 2020-092, kung saan naglaan ang lungsod ng P124.4 milyong pondo.
