HALOS 5,500 na ang bilang ng mga overseas Filipino workers na nahawa ng coronavirus disease 2019.
Sa datos na nakalap ng Department of Foreign Affairs nadagdagan ng 21 ang bilang ng mga bagong kaso ng COVID-19 sa hanay ng OFW. Ang kabuuang bilang ng mga ito ay 5,490.
Ang bilang naman ng mga nakarekober ay 2,369 nadagdagan ng tatlo mula kahapon.
Ang bilang ng mga nasawi ay 395 na, nadagdagan ng lima mula kahapon.
“As we continue to face this pandemic, the DFA, along with its 94 Foreign Service Posts, assures its continued service and assistance to the Filipino people in these trying times, wherever they are, whenever possible,” saad ng DFA.
