“Finally, after decades of waiting, we now have the new law creating the NASS attached to the Department of Education,” ani House Deputy Speaker at 1Pacman Rep. Mikee Romero.
“Somehow, this would boost the spirits of our national athletes and aspiring sports heroes all over the country who have had to continue training in their homes and in isolation from others because of the COVID-19 pandemic,” saad ni Romero.
“We must get this right. This NASS is a crucial component of our national goal to win golds at the Olympics and reign supreme in world championships.”
“The next major piece of the puzzle is a sports state university. However, if the government is unable to establish and operate a sports university soon, I am hoping the private sector can come together to build the country’s first private sports university.”
