MAAARING mag-apply ng lisensya sa pagmamaneho online.
Ayon sa Land Transportation Office bahagi ng ipatutupad nitong new normal ang pagpapaigting sa online transaction nito sa tulong ng Land Transportation Management System (LTMS).
Sa pamamagitan ng LTMS maaari ng magproseso ng driver/conductor application para sa renewal ng lisensya, mag-request ng revision of records at Certificate of No Apprehension.
Ang mga nahuli naman sa traffic violation ay maaaring magbayad sa pamamagitan electronic payment at online banking para hindi na pumunta sa tanggapan ng LTO para magbayad ng multa.
Ang mga contested cases naman ng mga huli, ang motorista ay maaaring magpadala ng position paper online sa pamamagitan ng LTMS.
“Notification of hearing schedule and settlement updates will then be sent through electronic mail (e-mail) and through a portal dashboard.”
Ayon kay LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante ang LTMS ay kasalukuyang naka-pilot testing sa ibang tanggapan ng LTO.
“We are doing the pilot-test at 24 LTO Offices to iron-out the technical glitches, and thus ensure that everything will run smoothly. Once all are in place, the LTMS will be implemented in all LTO offices nationwide,” ani Galvante.
“The LTMS will limit human intervention so as to comply with the safety protocol advised by health authorities. Aside from this, I encourage everyone to be a responsible motorist so that our roads will be safer and settlements will be less. In this way, we can contribute to the faster healing process of our country.”
