DJ Loonyo nag-sorry sa mass testing blooper; Agot pang-asar
BINASAG din ng ilang celebrities ang kontrobersyal na online sensation na si DJ Loonyo dahil sa “false information” na pinagsasabi niya sa kanyang video.
Unang-una na riyan ang singer-actress na si Agot Isidro na ni-retweet pa ang viral video ng sikat na choreographer-vlogger.
Caption niya sa kanyang post, “We are where we are because of people like him.
“Dude, may pera ka pang-vape. So meron kang pang-data. #usokforbrains,” pang-aasar pa ng aktres na ang punto’y dapat nag-research muna ang DJ tungkol sa mass testing.
Hindi man pinangalanan ng komedyanteng si Jerald Napoles si DJ Loonyo, mukhang siya rin ang tinutukoy nito sa mensaheng ipinost niya sa kanyang social media account.
“Do not impose what you know if there’s no research to back it up.
“If that is your opinion, be clear about it. Put your influence into good use. Don’t use fame to mislead,” ani Jerald.
Samantala, kanina ay nagbigay na ng pahayag si DJ Loonyo tungkol sa kontrobersya. Nag-sorry siya sa mga maling salita na nabanggit niya tungkol sa mass testing.
“First off, I apologize for the wrong use of terminology in that particular instance.
“My point is not particulary about the ‘Covid Mass Testing’; I was actually referring to ‘CLINICAL TRIALS’.
“I understand that the use of terminology is criticial, so I apologize for any confusion caused.
“Sa mga nagsabi po na mag-aral kami o mag-research, rest assured we have been doing that, kaya nga nandun kami sa punto na bukas ang isipan namin and we want to also be vigilant and see different sides of the picture para makabuo kami ng informed decision.
“Yes, we are definitely not experts, and we mentioned a lot of disclaimers during the live video, but we are exercising our right to ask questions, and share thoughts with those who agree or disagree.”
Paliwanag pa niya, “I know that I have been blessed with a platform kung saan may kaunting level din of influence.
