Matapos ang natatanging world premiere sa prestiyosong 66th Cannes International Film Festival sa France at parangalan sa katatapos na 2013 Puchon International Fantastic (PiFan) Film Festival sa South Korea, ipapalabas na sa buong Pilipinas sa August 28 ang mainit nang pinag-uusapang action-thriller ng Star Cinema at Reality Entertainment na “On The Job”. This is from the direksyon of the award-winning filmmaker na si Direk Erik and stars Piolo and Gerald together with Joey Marquez and Joel Torre.
By the way, the 2013 PiFan Film Festival best actor is Joel for the same movie. Aminadong napabilib agad sina Piolo, Gerald at Joel sa unang basa pa lamang ng “astig” script ng “OTJ”. Multi-cast ang movie dahil the P50 million co-produced movie of Star Cinema for its 20th year anniversary with Reality Entertainment has Shaina Magdayao, Empress, Angel Aquino, Vivian Velez, Michael de Mesa, Rayver Cruz, Dawn Jimenez and Leo Martinez pero nandito rin ang ilang unbilled stars like Al Tantay, Michael Florez and Rosanna Roces.
Now, knowing Erik who is very synonymous with daring movies like “Scorpio Nights 2”, natanong si Direk kung may sexy scenes din ba ang “OTJ”, meron daw; si PJ with Shaina and si Gerald kay Dawn. Mas hirap raw si PJ sa love scene nila ni Shaina dahil puro ito taguan at angguluhan kaya mas madali sa kaniya ang action scenes. As for Gerald, nagulat si Direk Erik that the Star Magic boy can be very daring.
