20 stranded na estudyante naihatid sa Isabela

DALAWAMPUNG estudyante na na-stranded sa Metro Manila ng ipatupad ang Enhanced Community Quarantine ang naihatid na sa Isabela.

Ayon sa Department of Transportation umalis ang mga estudyante sakay ng bus kahapon.

Inihatid ang mga ito sa ilalim ng “Hatid Estudyante Para Makabalik sa Probinsya Program”.

Ang mga estudyante ay sinundo mula sa kani-kanilang tinutuluyan at dinala sa tanggapan ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa Quezon City kung saan sila binigyan ng briefing ni DOTr Assistant Secretary for Procurement and Project Implementation Giovanni Lopez bago pinasakay sa bus.

Sumailalim din ang mga ito sa coronavirus disease 2019 rapid testing na pinangasiwaan ng mga medical personnel ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

Pagdating sa Echague, ang mga estudyante ay susunduin ng kani-kanilang local government units para ihatid sa kani-kanilang bahay.

“Take care. Stay safe and well. Ito’y isang programa ng ating Pangulo at ni [DOTr] Secretary Tugade, kasama ang iba pang kagawaran. Mag-aral kayong mabuti. Say “Hi” to your parents,” ani Lopez.

“Asahan po natin na hindi nagtatapos dito ang paghatid natin sa mga stranded na estudyante na gustong makapiling ang kani-kanilang pamilya. We are getting many requests from various students and they are currently located hindi lang po dito sa Metro Manila. We will do everything we can po to assist them in the best way we can.”
