KATHRYN BERNARDO
GABRIELA (General Assembly Binding Women for Reforms, Integrity, Equality, Leadership, and Action) has joined the fray between Kathryn Bernardo and her bashers.
In a recent tweet, GABRIELA came to the rescue of Daniel Padilla’s girlfriend who was bashed left and right dahil lang sa nagsalita siya sa shutdown ng ABS-CBN. This was reported by a website.
Kaliwa’t kanang batikos ang inabot ni Kathryn sa kamay ng mga bashers at trolls. During the height of the brouhaha, tinawag nilang sakang at pangit si Kathryn.
Addressing the issue, Kathryn said, “Alam n’yo, over the years (ay) natutunan ko (na) tanggapin ang legs ko. Yes it’s not straight. It’s kinda ganyan, ‘parang parenthesis’, yun ang sinasabi nila. E, wala e. Parte siya ng pagkatao ko.”
“Before, sobrang insecurity ko ito. Pero alam niyo kung sino nagpa-realize sa akin na huwag magpa-insecure? Si DJ. Through DJ na-overcome ko insecurity ko about my legs. Na-realize ko lahat tayo merong imperfections. Siguro nagkataon ibinigay sa akin ni God yung legs ko.
“And ano gagawin ko? E, di nagwo-workout ako para ma-excercise siya. And tatanggapin ko, kasi hello?! Hindi naman ako makukulong sa pagkasakang ko!
“I love my legs! Si DJ love din legs ko! Ngayon tanggap ko siya 100 percent!”
In the end, she told her bashers, “Come on! You kiss my f*cking legs! Hahaha!”
Gabriela tweeted their support to Kathryn.
“Online trolls are now hurling insults and sexist remarks at @bernardokath for speaking up against inequality and injustice.
“This brand of brazen misogyny is very similar to that of the tyrant in Malacanang. Together let us #ReportTheTrolls and #ProtectKathrynAtAllCost”
