NALIKHA ng mga scientists sa Hong Kong University of Science and Technology ang “MAP-1,” isang disinfectant spray na pumapatay ng mga virus, kabilang ang Covid-19, at mga bacteria nang hanggang 90 araw.
Di gaya ng alkohol at klorox, nananatili ang bangis ng MAP-1 kontra virus at bacteria kahit tuyo na ito. Napipigilan din nito ang pagkalat ng mga bagong virus at bacteria.
Inilarawan ito ng nga scientists na isang “special blend of heat-sensitive antimicrobial polymers releases disinfectants upon human contact.”
Pwede itong gamitin sa kahoy at leather nang hindi nasisira ang texture.
“It is also nontoxic and thus safe for the environment and skin'” dagdag nila.
Ginagamit na ang disinfectant sa mga pasilidad sa Hingkong gaya ng mga nursing homes, malls, school bus at simbahan.
