ABS-CBN tuloy ang operasyon

Leifbilly Begas - May 01, 2020 - 04:06 PM

“Nothing has changed, we guarantee them a fair hearing but it is the right nung mga complainant especially those saying na it is being use as a political tool during presidential election to give their side. Having said that, walang intensyon na ipasara sila o isara sila o gamitin ang situation na ito. That’s why we have already instructed the NTC (National Telecommunication Commission), the Committee on Franchise na dapat – ang broadcast ng ABS-CBN. But we have to give due course and we have to allow everyone to speak,” ani Cayetano.

“I think it can be the basis (NTC memo) but actually we – an order to NTC kasi ang tingin ng Kongreso if we have the authority to give a broadcast company 25 years to operate why can’t we give them a few months to operate in the middle of the hearings. Kami ang basis namin yung Constitution, the constitutional right for us to grant franchises. But tama ka there has to be something on paper and mukhang itong extension would benefit ABS.”
