“We confirm that GrabExpress delivery-partner Ronnie De Leon has been arrested by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) last April 23 for carrying a parcel containing liquor without his knowledge. Our investigation showed that a customer handed a sealed package to De Leon and declared it as grocery items, only to be revealed as bottles of liquor at the checkpoint,” saad ng pahayag ng GrabExpress.

“Grab is currently working with QCPD to process the case of De Leon. We are in touch with the customer involved in the incident who has already expressed cooperation to settle his bail. Grab will also provide financial assistance to his family to help them in this time of need.”

“All parcels must be properly declared in the app and unsealed for checking. We reserve the right to refuse service and ban violators.”
