MAY foul ba o wala?
Hay naku, tapos na nga ang Game Three ng best-of-seven finals ng PBA Philippine Cup sa pagitan ng Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants at Alaska Milk, iyon pa rin ang pinagdidiskusyunan ng ilan sa mga fans ng magkabilang teams.
Ang tinutukoy natin ay ang foul na isinampal ni referee Raymundo Maurillo kay Joe Calvin DeVance sa huling 1.7 segundo ng Game Two. Dahil dito ay nabigyan ng dalawang free throws si Kerby Raymundo. Ipinasok niya ang una at sadyang iminintis ang ikalawa para hindi na makatawag ng timeout ang Aces. Nagwagi ang Giants, 86-85, para sa 2-0 series lead.
Natural na sumama ang loob nina Alaska Milk coach Tim Cone at team manager Joaqui trillo dahil sa pagkatalong kanilang koponan.
Sinabi pa nga ni Trillo sa mga sportswriters na naniniwala siyang hindi masaya ang Purefoods sa panalo. Pero siyempre, opinyon niya iyon.
Lahat ng nananalo ay masaya. Kahit sino’ng coach, kahit si Cone mismo, tiyak na sasabihin, “A win is a win. We’ll take this one.”
At ang mga players ay lalong masaya dahil malalaki ang kanilang won-game bonus dahil nasa Finals na ito, e.
Well, sari-sari ang kuru-kuro ng mga fans at nabasa ko ito kahapon nang buksan ko ang aking Facebook account. Kasi nga’y inilagay ng moderator ng Radyo PBA ang katanungang “Foul Or No Foul?”

now how would everyone react if the refs didn’t call that foul??? JEEZ!
foul has been called… purefoods won… now let’s all go ahead with it and look forward to tomorrows 3rd game. enough of those bickering…

Francis Kiko Malicdem personally it should be a let go situation. but kung foul or no foul. i think may foul yun. what i don’t like is the accusation that pfoods needed the help of the refs to win which i think is unfair. they erased the 14 point lead on their own.
