Handa ka na ba sa lockdown?

Alan Tanjusay - March 10, 2020 - 12:15 AM

I am not promoting panic neither I am trying to promote chaos or anarchy.
Pero have you imagined yourself and your family in a state of government lockdown kahit sa barangay pa lang ninyo o sa inyong bayan o syudad dahil dito sa lumalalang bilang ng kaso ng coronavirus? How do you prepare just in case?
Hindi masama kung maghanda ka na ng bigas at inuming tubig. Sabayan mo na rin ng mga sardinas at iba pang canned goods. Pag labas mo ng grocery store, bumili ka na ng ilang gamot na kailangan ninyo.
In fact, as you read this now, many others have started doing it — slowly buying and storing basic necessities in their homes.
If you decide to do the same, go ahead, by all means! But please do it quietly so you won’t cause undue panic buying.
Hanggang kailan naman tatagal ang supplies mo kung sakali man? Sa aking estimate, try mo hanggang two weeks minimum.
Try also to consider not working without pay for two weeks. Sa government lockdown kasi, authorities will prohibit travel from one point to another to try to contain the spread of COVID19.
I saw our poor government response to the COVID-19 outbreak and the way things that are happening right now. Locking down barangays, municipalities or cities is an immediate option to mitigate the outbreak, and probably the most logical thing to do.
