“HUWAG mong gawin ang mga ginawa ko!”
Ito ang birong payo ng Concert King na si Martin Nievera kay Matteo Guidicelli matapos pakasalan ang Popstar Royalty na si Sarah Geronimo.
Parehong close sina Matteo at Sarah kay Martin kaya super happy din ang Kapamilya singer na sa wakas, bubuo na rin ang dalawa ng sarili nilang pamilya.
Ayon pa kay Martin, saludo siya sa pagmamahalan ng AshMatt dahil talagang ipinaglaban nila ang pagmamahal sa isa’t isa pero aniya hindi nila dapat makalimutan ang pinakamahalagang bagay sa lahat ng mga nangyari.
“This whole getting married thing which is becoming everybody’s headline should actually be their own personal promise to each other. That’s what a marriage is. It’s not about the wedding. It’s not about the day you got married. It’s about the marriage,” pahayag ng ex-husband ni Pops Fernandez sa panayam ng ABS-CBN.
Dugtong pa niya, “Please keep the enthusiasm, the energy, that ‘I want you, I want you so badly,’ keep it going. Sustain that. Because dates and events will be forgotten but your love will never be forgotten.”
Payo pa niya sa bagong kasal, dapat daw panatilihin nila kung ano meron sila ngayon at mas patatagin pa sa mga susunod na araw, linggo, buwan at taon.
“There will be more bumpy roads but this time, it’s the two of you against the world,” aniya pa.
“You cannot make a decision without the other person’s consent or at least giving his or her few cents worth. And always be willing to forgive each other,” pagpapatuloy pa ng Concert King.
At ang dapat daw isipin lagi ng mag-asawa ay, “Have fun in their relationship. Don’t take it too seriously. Don’t try and be a wife, just be a wife. Don’t try and be a husband, just be a husband. These are not roles you play in a teleserye or in a movie. This is real life, this is real stuff.”
At sa huli, may mensahe si Martin para kay Matteo, “The best advice I can give Matteo is just don’t do what I did. You’ll be fine.”
