HINDI nagustuhan ni Aiko Melendez ang komento ng ilang netizens tungkol sa lantarang pagpapakita niya ng suporta sa ABS-CBN kahit nasa GMA 7 siya ngayon.
Komento ng isa niyang follower sa social media itigil na ng aktres ang pagpo-post at pagkukumpara sa rating ng programa niyang Primadonnas sa katapat na show sa Kadenang Ginto na namaalam na sa Dos.
Sabi ng netizen, “I really like your figure transformation and I also like your being real that is why I am following you here on IG…just a little concern though, I hope that you will stop showing the comparison of ratings with your show and the competing channel.
“I saw somewhere that you were stating NO to the shut off of ABS-CBN and here you are posting the difference of ratings. Isn’t it IRONIC?”
Narito naman ang naunang post ni Aiko bilang suporta sa ipinaglalabang franchise renewal ng Kapamilya network, “Ang tagal ko din naging parte ng ABS CBN, madami akong magandang proyekto nagawa sa kanila. Nagkaroon ng ibat ibang papuri sa mga awards. Malaki ang naitulong ng ABS sa akin.
“Bagamat ako ay nasa GMA hangad namen na maayos ang kanilang franchise dahil sa huli lahat tayo ay nasa iisang industry. Tayo ay magkapuso at magkapamilya. #notoabscbnshutdown.”
At ito naman ang sagot ni Kendra (karakter niya sa Primadonnas) sa mga negang netizens, “Why are we pleased with others misfortunes??? The emotion of pleasure in one’s misfortunes is an evil act. It is considered to be less acceptable than envy. Which is regarded as deadly sin. I was bombarded with messages in my IG account regarding my stand in ABS CBN’s shutdown.
“To quote some, ‘Ms Aiko ba’t ka nagpo-post ng ratings ng Primadonnas na mas mataas kayo sa kabila tas you are supporting ABS?
“My reply was, ‘It is not about whose who anymore, ratings, who is better. It’s for humanitarian reasons too why this is my stand. A lot of people will lose their jobs. And some of them I have worked with, so my heart bleeds for them. ‘
“Wag tayong maging mababaw sa oras na ganito. I will never rejoice on the thought that while my position is secured with GMA still madami ang mawawalan. Sana malinaw tayo sa ganyan. Madami akong kaibigan also sa ABS CBN.
“And while our network GMA 7 has never taught their talents to be happy about this current situation of their rival network. In fact, they sympathize with them too. Its evident unspoken agreements. Iisang industry kami natural lang, we got each other back,” aniya pa.
