Duterte itinalaga si retired chief justice Bersamin bilang GSIS chair

 

ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Duterte si retired chief justice Lucas Bersamin bilang Chairperson ng Government Service Insurance System (GSIS).

Magiging miyembro rin si Bersamin ng Board of Trustees ng GSIS.

Inilabas ang appointment paper ni Bersamin ngayong araw.

Ipinagtanggol ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo ang pagkakahirang kay Bersamin.

“Mr. Bersamin has a sterling record of public service capped by a 10-year service in the Supreme Court where he assumed the position of Chief Justice in 2018. Former Chief Justice Bersamin finished law at the University of the East in 1973, and placed 9th in the Bar Examinations thereafter,” sabi ni Panelo.

Idinagdag ni Panelo na kumpiyansa ang Palasyo magsisilbi si Bersamin sa GSIS ng mga dedikasyon at integridad katulad ng ipinakita niya sa pagseserbisyo sa gobyerno sa mga nakalipas na mga taon.
