UNTIL now, it is quite BAFFLING to many why Nadine Lustre left Viva Artists Agency.
There was no reason offered as to why she bolted out of the company which launched her to stardom. We can only RATTLE off some guesses.
One, she felt she was not defended during the controversial break-up issue with James Reid. None of the writers affiliated with Viva took her side.
Two, she felt that she wanted to follow James’ footsteps who left Viva Artists Agency earlier. She thought she could pull off the same act but she failed.
Three, maybe she felt that the source of her breakup story with James was an insider.
Four, she felt she can stand on her own and she no longer have to be managed by anyone else.
Five, she’s no longer happy the way she was being managed.
Was Nadine right in bolting out of the management company which made her?
For us, no. What she conveniently forgot is that Viva Artists Agency PLUCKED her from ANONYMITY and OBSCURITY.
Before stardom, she was just part of an all-girl group until Viva Artists Agency decided to promote her as a solo artist. They honed and polished her, making sure that every step of her way to stardom will be laid to her almost effortlessly.
Nadine, sorry to be BLUNT about it, owed everything – stardom, fame and fortune – to Viva. Without her management’s effort, she wouldn’t be where she is now.
But we admire Nadine’s AUDACITY to terminate her management contract with Viva Artists Agency.
We have not heard of any Viva talent who had the TEMERITY to walk away with his or her contract with Viva. Only Nadine.
What does it all say about her? Well, she has a mind of her own. She’s very independent. Certainly, she is not a coward. She’s a tough cookie.
