PINANGUNAHAN ni 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray ang pag-aalay ng dasal at panghihingi ng tulong sa madlang pipol para sa nagaganap na malawakang wildfires sa Australia.
Ayon kay Catriona, matindi at taimtim na dasal ang kailangan para mahinto na ang ilang buwang pananalasa ng bushfire sa maraming lugar sa Australia.
Sa kanyang Instagram account, ipinost ng beauty queen na isang Filipino-Australian ang kanyang panalangin para sa isang “mighty miracle” na magpapatigil wildfires. Makikita rin sa kanyang IG post ang mga nag-aapoy na kagubatan sa Australia pati na ang mga tao at hayop na inililikas roon.
“Prayer warriors, please join me in praying for Australia, (praying hands emoji) Father God, I pray for Australia. I pray for rains that would come and dispel the fires that are raging. I pray for your protection over the land, all of its people, their families and wildlife.
“I pray for the volunteers, the firefighters, the servicemen who are putting their lives at risk every day. We ask for a mighty miracle Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN,” aniya pa.
Dagdag pa ni Cat, “We are experiencing a national crisis, and it is only going to get worse. Right now we need a miracle to stop these fires. Our firefighters are VOLUNTEERS, taking time off from their paying jobs to put their lives on the line for us.
