HINDI nakaramdam ng selos si Arjo Atayde sa pagtatambal nina Carlo Aquino at Maine Mendoza sa “Isa Pa With Feelings.”
Hindi rin siya affected sa si-nabi ni Maine before na crush niya si Carlo.
“Dati naman ‘yun, eh, hindi naman ngayon,” Arjo quipped during the presscon of the new season ng socio-political series na “Bagman” kung saan kasama na niya si Carlo bilang hitman.
According to Arjo, hindi rin naman siya nagselos sa kissing scene nina Maine at Carlo sa movie, “Ano po ang sasabihin ko. I don’t want it. I don’t wanna see it. It’s part of work. Bakit ako magseselos? Wala.”
Aminado si Arjo na four times niyang pinanood ang “Isa Pa With Feelings” kasama si Maine, “We just want to watch it. She wanted to watch her acting again.”
So, ano ang scene na pinakanagustuhan niya? “’Yung nag-sorry siya. ‘Yung pinakaunang eksena, ‘yung nagso-sorry siya kay Carlo, ‘yung bigla siyang nag-breakdown. I just felt it was so real.”
Sa season two ng Bagman ay maraming aabangang mga pasabog na eksena according to the actor, “Mas intense siya lalo na sa isinamang mga actors sa line-up. Expect more explosive scenes.”
When asked kung ano ang pinakamahirap na role na kanyang ginampanan, he cited his Elai character sa The General’s Daughter.
“Elai is the hardest pero this is also hard. I don’t think this is an easy role. Everything is. This one kasi is (about) hard killing, the emotions. Both are hard but Elai is the hardest,” he added.
Sa Bagman ay hindi maiwasan na masaktan siya sa ilang eksena with Carlo.
“We’re throwing punches and kicks. We’re throwing each other in the sofa. In Probinsyano, how many times did the actors hit me by accident. Tatamaan ka in one way or another. He (Carlo) hit me here (motioning his jaw),” Arjo said.
