PATULOY na mararamdaman ang mainit na panahon sa Cebu kung saan aabot temperatura sa 33 degrees Celsius at ang heat index sa 40 degrees Celsius, ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
“There is less chance of rain in the next three to five days. There may be rains brought by localized thunderstorms but not still not as much as what we experienced in the past,” sabi ni Joey Figuracion, Pagasa weather specialist sa Mactan station.
Idinagdag ni Figuracion na walang direktang epekto sa Cebu ang bag-yong nasa labas ng Philippine Area of Responsibi-lity.
Nauna nang sinabi ng Pagasa na minomonitor ang bagyong may international name na “Ha-gibis” na nasa 3,295 kilometro silangan ng Southern Luzon.
Sakaling pumasok sa Pilipinas, tatawagin itong bagyong “Perla.”
“Despite the four typhoons that have entered PAR in September, the Pagasa Mactan station recor-ded only 100 millimeters of rainfall for the entire month. This is below the normal level, which is at 192 mm,” ayon sa Pagasa.
