Anne inupakan sa Sogie Bill: Magsalita ka kung may anak kang nasa public C.R.

ANNE CURTIS

ANNE Curtis articulated in her recent post why she is supporting the controversial SOGIE Bill.

“With the SOGIE Bill hearing recently happening and with such a heated discussion ongoing about it being passed. I just want to share my thoughts.

“I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ Community and have been open about that for years. I have friends and family who are part of this community and whom I love very much.

“It breaks my heart and saddens me that people are so against the passing of the bill when in fact, it all boils down to equal rights as HUMAN BEINGS… but sadly because of discrimination, a bill like this has to be made….

“Because, instead of kindness, compassion, respect and UNDERSTANDING it has come to a point where they need this bill to protect their rights as human beings.

“Equality is all they seek for. Equality regardless of what gender they identify as or how they choose to express themselves and equality as human beings and citizens of this country… just like all of US.

“I still stand by these words I said for this cover in 2016…

“We are all the same. We are all human beings who deserve a chance and equal opportunities in life. May it be for work, life or love we should be given equal rights. #comingoutforequality #sogieequalitybill.”

That was her long aria which was met by disappointment by her followers on Instagram. Ang daming nag-disagree sa followers niya.

“Say that again pag may anak ka nang babae. live like us and take a public rest room. Im 100% sure you’ll never pee there. Respect begets Respect. #notosogiebill.”

“Let’s just accept the fact that we are not born equal… I understand that we need to be treated equal as humans but each human has different needs regardless of their gender or even status in the society… In the eyes of God we are born equal but we are here in sinful world that no one can ever control everything…#justsaying.”

“I hope that vulnerable young minds- our children, our teens do not look to these celebrities for what is right and wrong. That is disastrous. These celebrities are out of touch. And they should not be considered their moral compass. It is the job of parents to guide. This is a God-given duty.”

“Madali lang para sa inyong magsalita dahil hindi naman talaga kayo gumagamit ng public CR. Subukan n’yong magpunta sa mga public toilet at biglang may pumasok na mga transgender? Hindi sa discrimination ang issue, kahit na transwoman na sila, lalaki pa rin ‘yan at baka ‘yung iba, gamitin yan para makagawa ng krimen.”
