Isa sa dalawang kongresista ang nagsusulong ng magkahiwalay na House Bill na naglalayong ipagbawal na ang homework o asignatura sa mga ito on weekends, kabilang si Cong. Alfred Vargas. Otherwise, ang kahaharapin ng sinumang gurong lalabag if ever this becomes a law ay multang aabot sa P50,000 o dalawa o hanggang tatlong taong pagkakabilanggo.

Sa puntong ito are opinions towards Cong. Vargas’ separate bill polarized, pero mas lamang ang ‘di sang-ayon sa batas na gusto niyang pairalin let alone the consequences na kaakibat ng paglabag nito.
Sa huling panayam sa kongresista nilinaw niya na wala namang parusa sa kanyang panukalang-batas. Nagkamali raw sila. So, ano pala ang mangyayari sa mga guro kung lalabag sila?

Ang pagiging palikero (a euphemism for babaero or womanizer) ng isang anak na lalaki may be understandably genetic.

But Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto is an exception.

Kung makulay ang buhay-pag-ibig ng kanyang amang si Vic—a fact known in showbiz circles—this cannot be said of the 30-year-old mayor. More surpri-singly—if not intriguingly—hindi pa raw siya nagkaroon ng nobya—hold your breath—since birth.

Ang dahilan daw nito’y masyado siyang focused sa trabaho. Parang sinabi na rin ng simpatikong bachelor na mahirap pagsabayin ang trabaho at lovelife when most men think that being in love is all the more a boost to their career.

Medyo weird, pero may ganito palang kaso leaving anyone with the irreconcilable thought na anak pa mandin siya ng isang Vic Sotto. Hindi pala chip off the old block si Mayor Vico.

In fairness, nasa himig naman niya ang pagsasabing he won’t end up being a bachelor for the rest of his life. Pero naiimadyin namin how picky he is with girls whose trait—first and foremost—ay dapat tinataglay ng kanyang inang si Coney Reyes.
