HINDI na-mention ni Kathryn Bernardo si Daniel Padilla sa victory party for “Hello, Love, Goodbye” kaya naman bumawi siya sa kanyang Facebook post.
“So I just came from our thanksgiving party and was finally able to thank the many people who were instrumental to the success of #HelloLoveGoodbye (you guys know who you are).
“However, there is one person I wasn’t able to mention — and he deserves this ENTIRE post. This person was not only my source of inspiration while I was filming the movie. He was my support system, my rock, my strength.
“We were hundreds of miles away from each other but not once did he make me feel alone. There were times I almost gave up—I felt exhausted, drained and too lonely as I was too immersed in the character of Joy.
“It was one of the hardest things I’ve experienced both on and off cam. But this guy, he kept me going. I had a pillow with his t-shirt and scent on, which I hugged every night and every time I felt like crying. I know it sounds a bit childish, but that also kept me going. DJ, my love, YOU KEPT ME GOING.
“Since day one, you were my biggest supporter and my number one cheerleader. I know how hard it was for you to let go of my hand, but despite that you still allowed me to fly.
“You know how scared I was being away from you, too but you stayed strong for the both of us. You kept reminding me, ‘Kaya mo yan, mahal. Konti nalang.’ You never gave up, you never gave me a reason to doubt myself or us. So, to be honest, ‘thank you’ is not enough to cover everything I feel — because it was your love that made all this possible. I hope I made you proud, my love. I couldn’t have done this without you by my side. Your success is mine; my success is yours.”
That post generated more than one thousand reactions from KathNiel fans na kilig na kilig.
“We always and 4ever love KathNiel…. I Love You My babies Kath and DJ.”
“I love you both. Thank you for being our source of happiness. Stay deeply inlove with each other. Happy 8th Anniversary Kathniel.”
“PUSO KO GRABE IM CRYING AND HAPPY AT THE SAME TIME.” “Nakakaiyak na nakakainlove. I love youuuuu forever KATHNIEL.”
Calling Alden Something as Asia’s Multimedia Star is simply a MISNOMER.
What’s MISNOMER? It is a “wrong or inaccurate use of a name or term.” Or maling paggamit ng isang kataga para sa isang tao.
Let me explain why. First, when you say multimedia star, it encompasses not one medium but a plethora of them. At sa lahat ng medium ay dapat naging successful ka. In Alden’s case ay hindi naman which is why we simply felt that his drumbeaters are riding on the COATTAILS of the success of his latest film.
Alden’s last teleserye was a flop. In the concert scene, Alden performed to an SRO crowd sa Kia Theater. It’s a smaller venue compared to Araneta Coliseum (with seating capacity of 17,000) or Mall of Asia Arena (with full seating capacity of 18,000). Enrique Gil and Daniel Padilla had performed in the former before an SRO crowd.
Sa commercials naman, the law of diminishing return has caught up with him as kumonti na ang kanyang endorsements. Recording-wise, his last album was not a big hit.
Sa movie naman, he was recently cast in “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” the highest grossing Pinoy film of all time but much of its box-office credit goes to Kathryn Bernardo who is clearly a bigger star than him.
Having said that, I feel that Alden’s drumbeaters are cashing in on the actor’s successful movie and his recent international award.
Whatever you say, however you bash me, it will always be a MISNOMER to me ‘yang bagong title ni Alden lalo pa’t it includes the whole of Asia.
