“TUMIGIL ka na sa pagkanta mo!” Yan ang matapang na pahayag ng isang netizen sa TV host-actress na si Anne Curtis.
Hindi napigilan ni Anne ang sarili na sagutin ang kanyang Instagram follower na nagsabing huwag na siyang kumanta dahil hindi naman siya talaga singer.
Nag-post kasi si Anne sa kanyang IG ng isang video clip habang kumakanta ng “A Million Dreams” (mula sa sikat na Disney musical The Greatest Showman), kuha ito sa “ANNEkulit, Promise Last Na ‘To” concert niya sa Davao City kamakailan.
Caption ni Anne sa video, “A sea of lights! MY FAVORITE PART from last night! Maayong buntag! Daghang Salamat Madlang Davaoeños! Nahigugma ko ninyo! From the bottom of my kasing-kasing! Palihug ayo-ayo always!”
“Tonight was a tribute to all the soldiers who have given their heart to serve and protect our people! Sana nag enjoy din po kayo! Till my next visit!
“Maraming Salamat Davao and Maraming Salamat din sa producers ko for bringing me in to make the Davaoeños happy and a great way to end the kadayawan festival!” mensahe pa ng Kapamilya actress.
Isang netizen nga ang nagkomento na itigil na ni Anne ang pagkanta, “I mean, you’re very good at acting but sorry to say singing is not for you. Just being honest.”
Narito naman ang resbak sa kanya ni Anne, “I am aware that I am not a singer and in fact the whole country has known this throughout my whole career. I never claimed I was. I’m actually vocal na sintunado (represent) ako. Although nag-improve na ako throughout the years in fairness to me. Haha.
“The concerts I do are for pure entertainment AND the people who buy tickets and attend my concerts go KNOWING WHAT TO EXPECT. They know they aren’t going to hear a beautiful voice but I do promise them a night full of fun and laughter and that’s why I continue to do what I do, because I know I am able to make people happy.
“So, yes, this concert is my last tour as its title is ANNkulit, Promise Last na ‘to! But it won’t stop me from singing!” chika pa ni Anne. Sinabihan din niya ang netizen na i- unfollow na lang siya sa IG o patayin ang TV kapag kumakanta siya, “Para ‘di ka ma-stress. Salamat po! Happy weekend! And thank you for complimenting my acting po!”
