MIKAEL DAEZ AT MEGAN YOUNG
Inamin ng Kapuso star na si Mikael Daez na nag-i-sleepover siya sa bahay ng girlfriend niya for nine years at dating Miss World na si Megan Young.
“We’re not living in but, I mean, we visited each other very, very often. Yeah, of course, we sleepover especially when we’re working together. In time I think things will evolve in an organic way,” esplika ni Mikael nu’ng makausap namin sa grand launch ng sarili niyang designs and collection for Hanford underwear.
Marami naman ang naghinala na ikinasal na ang dalawang Kapuso stars when they went to Europe recently, “You know, we just came from France. We were there because it’s my sister’s wedding.”
Tinanong namin si Mikael kung ‘di ba nagkaroon ng double wedding that time, “Wala, e. Maliit kasi ‘yung probinsya, e. One wedding a day lang.”
Pabiro rin ang sagot ni Mikael kung kailan sila pakakasal ni Megan, “Yun nga, e, baka tapos na po, yeah. Quiet lang. Ha-haha!”
Hindi rin niya masabi kung anong plano nila ni Megan about their relationship, “We’ll see. We’ll see. Alam mo naman, kapag magkasama kami ni Megan we’re so easy going, grabe. Relaks lang talaga kami.”
Dagdag pa niya, “Well, me and Megan, I mean, we’re very happy with one another. Just for the record, we will get married. We just don’t know when. So, we’ll let you guys know.”
Wala raw right time or age sa pagpapakasal ayon kay Mikae, “It’s so hard. Have you seen people get married at the age of 60, some poeple get married at the age of 20. It’s spontaneous. And we love each other, that’s the most important part.”
Anyway, ikalimang taon na ni Mikael bilang endorser ng Handford. Hindi lang siya ang longest celebrity endorser nito kundi kinuha na rin siya ng management para gumawa ng sarili niyang underwear colletion.
“Extremely proud, sa totoo lang. And, dito sa Hanford I really found another family. So, it’s been going strong since 2014 and evolving, I’m amazed and humbled at the same time na meron akong sariling line and very proud, and really looking forward giving this product to the Filipino people,” lahad niya.
“Actually, super, binigyan talaga nila ako ng confidence. I think that’s where it started. Kasi at first, nailang talaga ako. Kasi, sa totoo lang hindi naman talaga ako underwear designer.
“But they really took my hand and showed me the process step by step, ‘O, Mik, eto ‘yung fabrics. Get to know the fabrics. Eto ‘yun. Eto ‘yung qualities niya.’ After that, okey, design process na,” lahad ng aktor.
Ipinakita raw niya kay Megan ang mga design niya, “Natuwa siya. Like I said, ‘yung gaming boxers that she can actually wear herself. Tuwang-tuwa siya kasi nga into gaming si Megan ngayon. I plan to give her that, the gaming underwear.”
