Na-acquire ng Netflix ang global rights to stream ng pelikulang “Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa Wi Fi” na mapapanood na simula ngayong Aug. 21.
Bida sa pelikula sina Sue Ramirez, Jameson Blake at Markus Peterson and produced by Cignal Entertainmen, Idea First Company and October Films Train.
“I am excited that our film will reach the diverse audience of Netflix,” ayon sa director ng movie na si Jun Lana. “The younger viewers will see themselves in the characters and perhaps wonder what it’s like to be suddenly disconnected from the digital world.”
Ayon naman kay Jane Jimenez Basas, President at CEO ng Cignal TV, Inc., “The opportunity to tell relevant and heartwarming stories is an art. We chose to co-produce Ang Babaeng Allergic Sa Wi Fi with October Films Train and The Idea First Company because of the popularity of using gadgets and being on social media amongst teenagers, around which the plot of the movie revolves.”
