Kris aminado: Hindi ko kayang talunin sa MMFF sina Vice, Anne, Maine at Bossing…
MINALIIT at nilait nang bonggang-bongga ng isang basher ang Queen of All Media na si Kris Aquino.
Isang netizen kasi ang nagsabi kay Kris na huwag nang sumali sa Metro Manila Film Festival, at dapat daw ay mag-retire na siya sa showbiz.
Pumasok kasi bilang isa sa mga official entriea sa 2019 MMFF ang horror movie ni Kris na K(Ampon) kung saan makakatambal niya si Derek Ramsay mula sa Quantum Films.
Sabi ng hater ni Tetay, “Mag-retire ka na, I don’t think you can beat Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza this year, so save your horror career.”
Hindi ito pinalampas ni Kris at sinagot ang kanyang basher, “I also know there’s no way to beat or even equal them. Nakaapak naman sa lupa ang paa ko.
“Pero hindi masama ang hangarin na mabawi ang puhunan at gumawa ng movie na may ‘tapang’ ang kwento.
“Paula, clearly underdog ako, I have had no regular free TV exposure for almost 4 years, unlike bossing, Maine, Anne, and Vice so hindi ganun kataas ang expectations, in essence less pressure.
“I saw the movie budget, feasible siya from a business perspective,” paliwanag ng TV host-actress.
Dito inamin din ni Kris na hindi talaga niya in-expect na mapipili sa MMFF ang kanilang pelikula.
“Straight and real talk, hindi ko talaga in-expect to be chosen. Why? Kasi may entry si Robin Padilla na horror. And meron ang Ten17 productions ni direk Paul Soriano.
“Why would a festival under MMDA choose a movie starring Kris Aquino, right? Alam na alam kong hindi namin panahon ngayon but maybe Senator Bong Go, who is in the executive committee, is really a man who plays FAIR and looks beyond politics.
“Direchong sagot ha, kung wala siya sa committee it would be easier for me to decide. But a door was opened for me after so many had been shut. Kaya napaisip na pwede pa rin pala to go beyond our perceptions and have faith,” ang mensahe pa ni Tetay sa kanyang hater.
Matapos i-announce ng MMFF Selection Committee na pasok na sa Magic 8 ang “K(Ampon)”, nag-post si Kris sa kanyang Instagram account na mahihirapan siyang gumawa ng horror movie dahil sa kanyang health condition.
“May checklist sila regarding my health and kung magbibigay sila ng medical clearance for me to shoot a horror. I’ve accepted na may physical limitations na talaga ‘ko. Humility has taught me other actresses can credibly play my role.
“Kaya po kayo ang tatanungin ko (since kayo naman ang manunood) – should I make my return via this horror movie or give way now para makahanap na ng other actress to take my place? Nagtanong ako, so hindi (ako) mapipikon sa kung ano man ang sagot,” aniya pa.
