Manoy hindi raw na-stroke, napatid sa kable kaya nag-collapse

KUMALAT sa social media ang isang video kung saan mapapanood ang tunay na dahilan umano kung bakit nawalan ng malay ang award-winning actor-director na si Eddie Garcia sa taping ng bago niyang teleserye.
Hindi raw severe heart attack o aneurysm ang dahilan kung bakit nag-collapse ang veteran actor habang nasa taping ng upcoming series ng GMA na Rosang Agimat.
Ayon sa isang kapamilya ni Manoy na siya ring pinagmulan ng kumalat na video, nawalan daw ng malay ang beteranong aktor at direktor nang madapa ito matapos mapatid ang paa sa isang kable habang kinukunan ang kanyang mga eksena sa nasabing serye.
Makikita sa video ang pagkakadapa ni Manoy habang ginagawa ang kanyang chase scene. Dahil dito, nagka-fracture ang leeg ng aktor.
May lumabas pang impormasyon na matapos suriing mabuti ang veteran actor, sinabi ng kanyang mga doktor na hindi ito inatake sa puso.
Kasabay nito, nag-issue naman ng official statement ang GMA 7 hinggil sa lumabas na video: “The video of Mr Eddie Garcia faltering in his steps and eventually collapsing has reached GMA.
“We are seriously reviewing the said video as well as other videos of the same scene which our cameras also took, before we make any conclusions on what really transpired.
“The statement that was released earlier was given to GMA News by Nick, Mr. Eddie Garcia’s stepson.
“We will wait for the family or their doctor to issue a formal update on his condition. Meanwhile, we continue to pray for his quick recovery.”
