For unfollowing Claudine Barretto on Instagram, Kris Something was slightly bashed.
“Sir, if I continued to follow ang sasabihin nyo naman plastic ako. We can remain friends in real life…following a person on social media isn’t proof of affection. Keeping a respectful silence is actually a more sincere gesture,” came Kris’ reply.
A follow-up question came from another fan who asked, “Tanong lang po ok na ba kayo ni Ms Claudine?”
“We have never been not okay. I believe she answered that very clearly. And I am happy for her that this bridge has been rebuilt because th TRUTH will always be – ‘how could we not talk about family when fmily’s is all that we got?’ Sincerely, I am happy for Clau-clau,” sagot ni Kris.
But Kris’ answer did not sit well with some netizens.
There’s mute option naman.”
Correct us if we’re wrong, ha, but we think Kris has not explained why she unfollowed Claudine on Instagram.
There are so many reasons why we unfollow people on social media. One, we find their posts toxic. Two, we felt hatred for some people. Three, we don’t find his/her posts pleasing to our eyes. Four, we simply don’t want him/her in our social media life.
A true friend will not unfollow a friend at whatever given reason.
Obviously, Kris was miffed when Claudine took the side of Gretchen Barretto. It is either Kris conveniently forgot that blood is thicker than water or she really abhors the fact that her nemesis has gained a supporter in their high-profile battle.
