INALMAHAN ni Maine Mendoza ang kumakalat na fake news sa social media tungkol sa umano’y tunay na relasyon nila ni Alden Richards.
Pinaniniwalaan na ilang AlDub fans ang nagpo-post ng mga kasinungalingan sa kani-kanilang social media accounts patungkol kina Maine at Alden. Ipinagpipilitan ng mga ito na ang dalawang Dabarkads Ayon kay Maine ang tunay na magkarelasyon at hindi totoong magdyowa sina Maine at Arjo Atayde.
Pahayag ni Maine sa kanyang blog recently, “For the record, I was never in a relationship. I was never engaged. I was never married. I was never pregnant. (Malaki lang ang tyan!)
“Ms. Myrna, Baluyot, Joy Wang and the like are in no way connected to me, my friends, my pemily, and my management,” aniya pa.
Dagdag ng dalaga, “I have no idea where they get their stories from but one thing for sure, everything is fabricated. Whatever their reasons are for doing that, I hope they will soon realize that there are a lot people being affected by their stories.”
Ilang AlDub fans ang nag-post ng ilang screenshots sa Twitter ng umano’y social-media posts mula sa netizens na nabanggit sa blog entry ni Maine. Dito mababasa ang paniniwala ng mga fans na may namamagitan daw talaga kina Maine at Alden.
Sa kanyang blog, sinabi rin ni Maine na maiintindihan niya kung sumama ang loob ng mga fans nila ni Alden, pero aniya, “If you really choose to be at the opposite side of the peaceful virtual world, I don’t think anyone can stop you at this time.
“Some people really do things as their way to release frustration and anger. I am sorry you have to go through that phase of the fangirling life.
“I am sorry if I have caused you pain that you certainly had to throw rocks at me to take back all the love you had given me.
“It may not make sense to me but I respect your feelings and method of healing.
“If that’s your way to cope then so be it but always remember this, life will become so much better if we move on from the things and people weighing us down.
“I will continue to pray for your inner peace. Please keep in mind that I am, and will forever be thankful for everything that you have done for me.”
