Digong magtatalaga ng 8888 citizens’ complaint hotline head
NAKATAKDANG magtalaga si Pangulong Duterte ng pinuno ng 8888 citizens’ compainy hotline para tiyakin ang epektibong operasyon nito.
Sa isang panayam, sinabi ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea na magtatayo ng bagong opisina na siyang magpapatakbo ng citizens’ hotline.
“It will be taken over by an undersecretary na maa-appoint maybe in the next few days. Talagang tututukan na ‘yan because dati it was under an office of a director but since magdadagdag kami ng isang sistema na SMS (text messaging), we decided to create another office to man that and at the same time namo-monitor lahat ‘yung mga complaints na natatanggap at nasasagot to the best of their abilities,” sabi ni Medialdea.
Ito’y matapos namang madismasya si Duterte sa laging busy na hotline.
Nagbanta pa si Duterte na ipapasara ang PLDT, Inc. sakaling mabigo ang telecommunications giant na palawakin ang citizens’ complaint hotline para sa frontline government services.
