INIIMBESTIGAHAN na ng Ateneo de Manila University ang nag-viral na video kung saan isang junior high school student nito ang nanggulpi ng kapwa estudyante sa loob ng comfort room.
“The Ateneo Junior High School is dealing with this matter seriously beginning with an immediate investigation that ensued the moment the report reached us,” saad ng pahayag na pirmado ni ADMU Junior High School Principal Jose Antonio Salvador at inilabas sa Facebook Account ng eskuwelahan.
Makikita sa video ang isang maliit na estudyante na nambu-bully sa mas malaking estudyante na umiihi. Hindi malinaw kung ano ang pinagmulan ng away ng dalawa.
Isang beses na sinaktan ng mas maliit na estudyante ang mas malaking estudyante na mukhang nagdugo ang mukha.
“The video, taken at face value, depicts an evident act of violence that constitutes a serious violation of disciplinary misconduct.”
Nagpahayag naman ang ADMU ng pagkabahala sa pakalat ng video dahil maaari umanong nalabag ang privacy ng mga menor de edad.
“We express our concern also about the risks associated with sharing the video, online and in social media groups. Not only has the privacy rights of these minors, been breached but it has also provoked some reactions that do little help the school in dealing appropriately with the incident.”
Nagpasalamat naman ang ADMU JHS sa indibidwal na nagparating sa kanilang tanggapan ng kumalat na video.
“May we appeal however to the rest of help in putting a stop to the indiscriminate spreading of the video.”
