13th month pay na!
ON or before December 24, dapat matanggap na ng mga employees in private companies in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao ang kanilang 13th month pay.
Ayon sa Presidential Decree 581, all employers are required to pay their employees’ 13th month pay on or before the end December 24 every year.
The 13th month pay was created as a thank-you gift of employers to employees for rendering their labor to the company.
Employers who won’t comply can be charged with violation of PD 851 at the Department of Labor and Employment.
Ang pay na ito ay dapat ibigay ng cash. Hindi pwede ang grocery items, rice, gadget o gift cheques. Cash lang!
Ang 13th month pay ay iba pa sa Christmas bonus.
Sa Christmas bonus, doon pwedeng cash, GC or grocery items.
Entitled sa 13th month pay ang mga employees kahit isang buwan pa lang sa kompanya kasama ang mga “endo” at contractuals.
Pasok din sa dapat bigyan ang resigned o terminated employees in proportion to the length of time he/she has rendered.
Maari itong ibigay nang buo tuwing December 24 every year or hatiin at ibigay ang kalahati tuwing June (for enrolment) at on or before December 24 (for noche buena) every year.
