INIHAYAG ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea ang pagsibak sa tatlong undersecretary ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
“Yes. We expect the new secretary to bring his own team to provide better services to the public,” sabi ni Medialdea sa text message sa mga miyembro ng media.
Kabilang sa mga tinanggal sa katungkulan ay sina Undersecretary for Protective Operations and Programs Group Mae Ancheta-Templa, Undersecretary for Promotive Operations and Programs Group Maria Lourdes Turalde-Jarabe, at Undersecretary for Disaster Response Management Group Hope Hervilla.
Kasabay nito, itinanggi ni Medialdea na inalis ang tatlo sa pwesto dahil sa pagiging maka-kaliwa.
“No naman. Formation of a good team,” giit ni Medialdea.
Matatandaang itinalaga ni Duterte si dating Army chief retired Lt. Gen. Rolando Bautista bilang bagong Secretary ng DSWD.
