P10 minimum fare tuloy na

Jeepney fare

IBINASURA ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board ang motion for reconsideration na inihain ni Rodolfo Javellana Jr., ng United Filipino Consumers and Commuters kaugnay ng nakaambang dagdag pasahe sa jeepney.

Nangangahulugan ito na tuloy na ang pagpapatupad ng P10 minimum na pasahe sa pampasaherong jeepney sa unang linggo ng Nobyembre.

Wala umanong nakitang batayan ang LTFRB upang baguhin ang naunang desisyon nito na gawing permanente ang P1 provisional increase at dagdag na P1 sa minimum fare.

“On the merits of the Motion for Reconsideration upon careful examination of the Board, the instant Motion failed to present new issues for the Board to reconsider its earlier findings,” saad ng desisyon. “It is apparent that the issues raised therein had already been passed upon by the Board in resolving the instant Petition for fare increase as the same issues were raised by Opposition Acao in his Opposition filed on 13 June 2018.”

Iginiit din ng LTFRB na hindi sumali si Javellana sa pagdinig ng petisyon sa pagtataas ng pasahe at matapos magdesisyon ang ahensya ay tsaka lamang ito nakilahok.

Bukod sa pampasaherong jeepney, pinayagan din ng LTFRB na magtaas ng pasahe ang mga ordinary at air conditioned buses.
