SEETHING with anger ang indie starlet of intergalactic proportion na si Chai Something over a headline which she felt was degrading to the recent Cinema One Originals 2018 best actress Iyah Mina.
On her Twitter account, this aktres-aktresan reposted the content of the article and ranted against the writer.
“Nababalot ng kontrobersya ang Best actress category dahil isang baguhang transwoman ang tumalo kina Rufa Mae Quinto, Meryl Soriano, Chai Fonacier, Loisa Andalio at EulaValdes sa Cinema One Originals Festival 2018. Ito’y si Iyah Mina para sa pelikulang Mamu and A Mother Too.”
“Why should it be a ‘controversy’ if a transwoman won the Best Actress award? Why must it be a click bait? ‘Nababalot ng kontrobersiya,’ says the lede in.
“F**ck it, it’s 2018. Get with the program. She’s a she. She won fair and square. F***ck you,” ‘yan ang maangas na aria ng starlet na ito.
