“Lawyers will answer the petition in due time if still required by Comelec. However, Comelec may surprise us by dismissing the petition outright for being a nuisance petition,” sabi ni Pimentel.
Tiniyak naman ni Pimentel na nakahanda siyang sagutin ang kaso para siya madiskwalipika na tumakbo sa pagka-senador sa 2019.
“But in any case, we are ready, and we know the correct answer to this issue. The consti[tution], law, jurisprudence, and the basic concept of fairness are all on our side. Hence we are very very confident that we will prevail,” ayon pa kay Pimentel.
