MAS na-inspire umattend sina Luis Manzano at Jessy Mendiola sa first ever ABS-CBN Ball dahil sa advocacy nitong makatulong sa Bantay Bata 163.
“Extra special siya kasi for a cause. Nakakatuwa kasi nga this year dahil may cause, parang naging mas meaningful yung pagga-glam up namin, yung pag-aayos namin, mas may purpose siya. So mas nakaka-inspire gawin,” said Jessy in an interview.
For his part, Luis said, “It’s a very special gathering of so many people. And it’s not just a gathering. We’re very happy na for this ball, kahit na yung mga napakaraming tao na tunay na bumubuo ng ABS-CBN, yung production, lahat ay nandito ngayon kasi sila talaga ang mga bida ng gabing ito.”
Sweet-sweetan din ang drama ng showbiz couple when asked kung ano ang masasabi nila sa kanilang mga outfit that night, “Sabi nga namin kanina before going down from our car. Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘You look extra beautiful,’” said Luis.
Sey naman ni Jessy, “Sabi ko, ‘I’m always happy kasi.’ At saka ever since talaga parang pagka-kunwari kahit anong itsura mo or kahit ano pang suot mo, basta kasama mo yung partner mo sa isang event, masaya ka talaga.”
