JFK. Not the initials of the assassinated US President, kundi Just For Kicks.
Kilalang matinding kritiko ng kasalukuyang gobyerno si Agot for which she gets her share of attacks ng mga DDS. Bale ba, most of these border on the personal side.
Meron kaming personal admiration for the singer-actress as she speaks her mind regardless of such attacks. And in Agot’s case, hindi lang siya basta namumuna. She’s backed up by facts borne out of her belief that there should be a room for freedom of expression.
But then, one cannot help but undermine her. Anong kakayahan meron ang isang ‘di hamak na singer-actress wanting to find her way into politics?
Agot’s impressive academic profile will probably speak for itself. Pero ang credentials ni Agot will make her pull through although her performance once elected apparently remains to be seen.
While there are scores who believe that Marcos is a hero, Agot thinks otherwise.
Oo nga naman, let history provide the answer to the never-ending debate.
Yes, but she’s a singer-actress who does not only know her history na nakabase sa mga libro, kundi isang thinking Filipino.
Manny Pacquiao?
The fourth is a combination of all the other factors which makes Agot a not-so-bad choice dahil 12 namang pangalan ang bibilugan sa balota.
Alongside this is the element of promise na baka pangilagan si Agot ng mga luluku-luko sa gobyerno na walang inatupag kundi magkamal ng salapi while seeing most Filipinos down the poverty level.
Now comes JFK as in bigla lang sumagi sa aming isip ang campaign slogan niya addressed to the crooks: Lagot Kay Agot!
