Lasing na hindi pinayagang makasakay ng LRT nang-agaw ng baril

NAG-VIRAL ang isang video kung saan tinangka ng isang lasing na pasahero na agawin ang baril ng isang security guard ng Light Rail Transit line 1 (LRT-1) matapos namang siyang hindi payagang makasakay ng tren.

Iginiit naman ng Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) na bawal na sumakay ng LRT1 ang mga pasaherong lasing.

“We wish to remind the public that as a policy, the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) does not allow intoxicated passengers on LRT-1 in consideration of the comfort of other commuters,” sabi ni LRMC.

Inilabas ng LRMC ang pahayag matapos mag-viral ang isang video ng isang lasing na pasahero habang tinatangkang agawin ang baril ng security guard na si Romeo Rallon, na naka duty sa Pedro Gil station.

Idinagdag ng LRMC, na nangyari ang insidente noong Miyerkules, Agosto 29, bago sumapit ang alas-10 ng gabi.
Hindi naman pinangalanan ang pasahero.

Base sa inisyal na imbestigasyon, tinangka ng lasing na pasahero na pumasok sa station ngunit pinigilan siya ni Rallon.

“The said passenger insisted and attempted to grab the service firearm of the security guard on duty,” sabi ng LRMC.

Kinumpirma rin ni Rochelle Gamboa, LRT-1 Head ng Corporate Communications, na sinuntok pa ng pasaherop sa mukha ang security guard .

Idinagdag ni Gamboa na dinala ang security guard sa clinic para magamot matapos ang insidente.

Dinala naman ang pasahero ng mga security personnel ng LRT-1 sa isang ospital bago ibigay sa mga otoridad.
